Roy Romero, passed away at his home on October 1st, 2021 in South Houston, Texas. Roy was born on September 23,1946 in Pasadena, TX to Ralph and Romana Romero. He was a beloved husband, uncle, brother, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
While in South Houston, Roy met the love of his life, Lupe. They have been married for over 56 years. Roy worked for The City of Pasadena Street & Bridge Department for over 45 years.
Roy had a passion for coaching. He coached for the South Houston Little League. He had the love for sports, and he enjoyed watching his grandchildren’s sports activities.
Roy is preceded in death by his parents, Ralph & Romana Romero, brothers Larry and Randy, granddaughter Savannah Romero, great granddaughter Mia Romero. He is survived by his wife, Lupe and their four children, Joann Aguirre, Elizabeth and her husband Kelly Cooner, Roy Roland Romero, Erik Lee Romero. Along with grandchildren Steven and Sergio Aguirre, Jessica Weatherton, Casey and Ashley Cooner and Mark and Joshua Romero and 9 great grandchildren.
Roy was also survived by his brother Joe Romero, and sisters Irene Baluch, Mary Ann Garza, Rosemary Perez.
