Michael Jeffrey Rojas was born December 14, 1997 in Pasadena, Texas to parents Stevan Rojas and Jennifer Kennon. He graduated from La Porte High School in May 2016. Michael had an appreciation for nature and enjoyed fishing, camping, hiking and riding bikes. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends while doing anything from Geocaching, playing Pokemon Go or discussing Medieval battle strategies.
Although his time was brief, he created many wonderful memories that his family and friends will cherish forever. Michael was preceded in death by his brother Stevan Rojas Jr. and is survived by his father Stevan Rojas and stepmother Angela Marteeny, mother and stepfather Jennifer and Oscar Garza, grandparents Frank and Helen Rojas, Walter and Connie Kennon, Bob Nichols and Dolores Garza, siblings David and Adam Rojas, Jacob, Hailey and Abigail Garza, niece and nephew Isabella and Anthony Rojas as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be held at Grand View funeral home Thursday, July 21, 2016 from 6-8 pm.
Celebration of life will be Friday, July 22, 2016 at 10:00am.
