Mabel Evelyn McGaugh

Evelyn went to be with the Lord on December 31 at the age of 94.

She was born in west Texas and raised in Mississippi. She played basketball in high school and junior college and graduated from Mississippi State College. She and her husband H.G. moved to Texas in 1954. They both enjoyed many years teaching in Pasadena ISD.

After retiring in 1980, she lived in Canyon Lake, San Antonio and Sugar Land. She spent the last couple of years at Autumn Grove Cottage in Copperfield playing dominoes and entertaining the staff with her sense of humor.

Evelyn is preceded in death by her parents Leon and Addie Reis, Husband H.G. McGaugh, daughter Roselyn Stewart and brothers Trenton Reis and Ed Reis.

She is survived by her granddaughters Jennifer Donovan and Karen Duke and 5 great grandchildren Ross, Amanda, Olivia, Kyle and Bella.

A Funeral Service will be held Monday, January 5, 2015 at 10:00am at Pasadena Funeral Home, 2203 Pasadena Blvd. Pasadena, Texas 77502.
