Janet Marie Bradley, born on January 2, 1952 in Houston, Tx, passed away on June 15, 2018 in Bacliff, Tx at the age of 66. Janet is preceded in death by her husband and soulmate of 50 yrs, Jimmy H. Bradley; her parents, Ray Lee, Thelma Simmons, Archie Simmons & Karna Lee; and her sister, Judy Hooks.
She is survived by; her daughter, Regina Gosset; her sons, Jody “Big Daddy” Gosset, Joshua Bradley, Heath Davis & Budrick “Bud” Bradley; her sister, Jeri Cheshire; her grandchildren, Christopher & Tracy Bradley, Jonathan Baker, Oren Thibodeaux, Alizabeth “Baby Angel” Gosset & Trevor & Kayla Ballard, Jimmy, Joshua & Jayden Bradley; great grandchildren, Liliana Bradley, Leon Bradley, Abbi & Kenna Ballard. In addition to a multitude of friends, Janet had numerous nieces and nephews of which she considered her very own.
Those who truly knew Janet, knew she was an angel sent from God and it seemed everyone who met Janet loved her. She was quick to share a smile, and offered kind words in passing to friends and strangers alike. She offered words of encouragement to those who needed it, and she was the kind of person who was known to do any and everything possible to help. She had a heart-felt compassion – unmatched – and considered it a gift from God. She was committed to offering her hands and heart to both children and animals of which she always adored.
Janet will be laid to rest next to her husband Jimmy, at Rose Lawn Cemetery in Ft. Smith, Arkansas on Saturday, June 30th, and the pallbearers accompanying her to her final resting place will be; Jody Gosset, Christopher Bradley, Jonathan Baker, Oren Thibodeaux, William Lain, and Charles Heath Davis
Although Janet will be missed terribly, she is now home with God and surely possesses a most beautiful set of wings - chosen just for her. In Janet’s memory and to honor her, anyone wishing to attend her Celebration of Life is encouraged to wear bright colors – as opposed to black or dark – as Janet was a bright and cheerful character in this world.
