Ernest Edwin Fennell

Ernest E. “Cat” Fennell, beloved and devoted husband, father, and grandfather passed away on September 22, 2015 in Pasadena, Texas. He was born December 1, 1939 in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. He served his country honorably for four years in the U.S. Navy aboard the U.S.S. Pickaway-APA222. He belonged to the Masonic Lodge 1295 South Houston, Texas. He retired from The Carpenter Local Union 551 of Houston, Texas. His hobbies of interest were hunting and fishing. He pursued these with typical dedication and commitment to excellence. Most of all he was dedicated to his family. He is survived by Deanna, his loving wife, daughters Rose Marie Benavides of Pasadena, Ruth Ann Reinhardt of Houston, and Kewpee Dee Roberts of Seabrook, One son, Kelly Waltmon of Deer Park. His extended family includes son-in-laws Ronnie Benavides, Brandon Reinhardt and Braxton Roberts and daughter-in-law Michelle Waltmon. His grandchildren include Alana Mendez, Emily Benitez, Ashley Rigsby, Luke reed, Meagan Valentine, James Valentine, Jenna Rodriquez, Thomas Rodriquez, Zachery Waltmon, and Justin Waltmon. His great grandchildren include Sara Mendez, Mya Mendez, Marcos Benitez, Adrian Mendez, Noah Rigsby, Abegail Rigsby, and John Parker Valentine. Services will be Monday, September 28, 2015, Viewing will be at 9am to 11am and Funeral Services at 11. Both will be held at Pasadena Funeral Chapel. Interment will take place at The Woodlawn Cemetery.
