Debbie attended Sam Rayburn High School in Pasadena and graduated with the class of 1969.
She went on to start a family and lived the remainder of her life as a selfless wife, mother,
grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
Debbie loved the water, be it the beach, the bay, or the rivers of the Hill Country, yet she never
learned to swim. She work in her yard tirelessly, and landscaped her grown children's yards
whenever they weren't looking. She was a creative woman filled with ideas and whimsy and
loved to decorate and if you stayed still too long around her, you might end up faux-finished.
She loved to cook meals for her family and always had something on the stove or in the oven.
She was looking forward to being the caregiver for her newest grandbaby in just a couple
weeks.
Debbie's untimely death leaves a gaping hole in the hearts of everyone that knew her. If you
knew her, you loved her. Her smile, her laughter, her hugs and her love were the best anyone
could ever hope to experience. The world sparkles less without her.
A memorial service will be held for Debbie on Saturday, December 28, 2013 at 10:00 AM at Grand View
Funeral Home and Memorial Garden in Pasadena, TX, Pastor Herbert Eifert officiating. The
family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in her name to your local battered
women's shelter.
