Cynthia “Apples” Ann Collins, 59 of LaPorte, passed away on Saturday, February 23, 2013. She was born August 31, 1953 in Houston, Texas to Charles Clayton and Hazel Louise Simons. She is survived by her loving husband, Sam Collins; sons, Clayton Collins and Garrett Collins; sisters, Brenda Louise Thomas, Charline Goodrum and husband Ray; grandson, Gage Carter Collins and numerous other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Richard Simons. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 27, 2013 from 5PM to 8PM at Grand View Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Thursday, February 28, 2013 at 2PM in the Chapel of Grand View Funeral Home. Dr. Jon Redmond will be officiating.
