Corrina Ruth Grimes passed away on December 18, 2011 in Pasadena, TX at the age of 77. She was born on December 18, 1934 to Johnny and Dixie Cottrell, who preceded her in death. Corrina is preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Marshall Grimes; son, James Bishop; 1 grandson; 1 great granddaughter; and brother, J.D. Cottrell. She is survived by 1 daughter, Betty Surowiec and husband John; 3 sons, Tommy J. Bishop, Gary Bishop and wife Rhonda, Lawrence Grimes and wife Tammy; brother, Jimmy Cottrell and wife Anna, 2 sisters Linda Hunter and husband Bobby, Carolyn Bonner and husband Bobby; 15 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and 3 expected great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends for visitation from 10:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 22, 2011, with funeral services to begin at 12:00 p.m. in the chapel of Grand View Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Grand View Memorial Park.
