Becky Guadalupe Martinez entered this world on February 21, 1975. Although she was born in Kerrville she grew up in La Porte. Her parents Ofelia Garza and Jesus Martinez raised a fine lady that all of us will miss. Becky earned her angel wings on the morning of Thursday, October 28, 2021. She was at peace and felt love, as she was surrounded by her family.
Becky loved life. She loved her family, her church and her friends fiercely. Becky loved to decorate and anyone that witnessed her decorations would agree that she had a talent for it. She loved to fish, and she loved to cook, adding her own touch of flavor to almost any recipe. Also, she enjoyed gardening.
Becky was a child of faith, and her devotion to Christ, her husband, her children, and every other family member or friend was a love that was contagious. Those that new her would testify that she loved with all her heart.
Becky is survived by her husband of 21 years, Reynaldo Martinez Jr.; her children; Gilberto Perez Jr., Reynaldo A. Martinez, and Emily M. Martinez; her parents; Jesus Martinez and Ofelia Garza, and her siblings; Jesse Martinez, Tony Martinez, and Raymond Martinez.
To the world she may have been just one person; but to many of us, that one person was our world. Rest well sweet child of God.
