Antonio Agapito Zuniga

On Thursday, September 8, 2022, Antonio Agapito Zuniga passed away in Brownsville, Texas, the same town where he was born in on August 17, 1937. He moved his family in 1971 to Houston where he resided the next 50 years. Antonio was the seventh of the eight children born to Felipa and Agapito Zuniga.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife of 64 years, Maria, his granddaughter, Melissa as well as his sisters, Onelia, Hermelinda and his brother Juan.

Antonio is survived by many who loved him, including his eleven children, Maria Teresa, George, Leticia, Sylvia, Elsa, Ray, Sonia, Gerardo, Fernando, Cristina, Gabriel, their spouses as well as his siblings Oralia, Ofelia, Rome and Jesus. He also leaves behind 34 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Antonio will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

A visitation for Antonio will be held Tuesday, September 20, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Pasadena Funeral Home, 2203 PASADENA BLVD, PASADENA, TX 77502, followed by a funeral service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
