Annie Marie Stiborek Roeder was born in Shiner, Texas on Nov.1, 1945 to parents August and Annie Stiborek- she was an only child.
She attended 1st-12th grade in Shiner Public School System and graduated at 17 years of age in 1963. Annie went on to Baldwin Business College in Youkum Texas. After graduation she worked for Roeder Appliance and Butane Company in Shiner, Texas. She also worked as secretary for Elim Church, 3200 South Richey Houston, for 41 years where she was an active member her entire life. She married Anton “Tony” Roeder and had two sons; Mark born in 1968, and Jeff born in 1970. Annie lived in Pasadena Texas until death.
She never met a stranger, was a best friend to all, always the first to help, and had a smile as big as Texas. She was giving, caring, and a very strong, faithful follower of Jesus Christ; she enjoyed sharing in the word of God. Her hobbies were shopping for clothes, listening to her favorite musicians-Jimmy Swaggert, and George Jones- and spending time with friends, family, and her grandchildren.
Annie Marie Stiborek Roeder is preceded in death by parents August and Annie Stiborek of Shiner, Texas, and her husband Tony Roeder of Pasadena, Texas. She is survived by her son Mark Roeder of Pasadena, Texas; son Jeffrey Roeder and his wife Gabrielle Roeder of Nashville, Tennessee; and grandchildren: Peyton, Chloe, Preston, Landon, and Austin of Nashville, Tennessee.
