Trina Lynn Young

Trina was born December 18th 1960 to father George (Jim) William Ewing and her Mother Patricia Sue Ewing, in Parkersburg, W.V where she would continue to spend the majority of her life.

Trina had a passion for music and sang in a band called “Daryl Sheppard and Zerpha Blue” and she performed at various clubs including ‘The Wheel Club” and “The Stables”.

Even though singing for an audience happened less often as she got older, her passion for performing music would live on for the remainder of her life thanks to the natural talent inherited by her two daughters and grandson, Logan.

Trina’s love and devotion for her pets make up a big part of who she was. A perfect evening for Trina usually included her and her pets relaxing in front of the T.V watching the latest episodes of “The Masked Singer”, “The Voice”, or “AGT”.

But the real purpose in her life was her grandchildren, especially the many sleepovers and time spent with the light of her life, her grandson, Liam Patrick Young.

She also enjoyed running around shopping and spending time with her best friends, Joy Woods Beeler and Kay Miller Chaffin. Plus hanging out with Jamie Wright or as she would say, her “brother from another mother”.

Trina is survived in death by her daughters, Brooke Nichols, Ashlea Danielle Young (Ted Farnsworth); grandchildren, Logan G Duckworth, AveryLynn Danielle Saccomen, Liam Patrick Young, Kyle Ray Carpenter, Kassidy Elece Nichols ;great-granddaughter, Natalia Elise Starling; brothers, Jamie Ewing (Jeri), Brian Ewing (Carol); best friends, Joy Woods Beeler, Kay Miller Chaffin, and Jamie Wright.

Trina was preceded in death by her father, George (Jim) William Ewing; mother, Patricia Sue Ewing; her fiancé, Frank Sheppard; and her dog, Abbi.

Trina will be deeply missed by her “tribe”.
