Richard Enoch

Richard was born August 30, 1939 in Wirt County, WV to Dustin and Mae (Caltrider) Enoch.

He graduated from Wirt County High School in 1957. Richard served in the US Army from 63-65. He married Rosa Lee (Newhart) on September 11, 1971.

Richard worked for DuPont for 32 years and retired at the end of 2001. He was a member of Pisgah United Methodist Church for over 40 years. He was also a member of CERT. Richard enjoyed watching sports, fishing, hunting and crossword puzzles. He really enjoyed his mission trip to Alaska last year.

Richard will be deeply missed by his wife Rosa Lee of 45 years; children Richard Stephen (Darlene) Enoch of Leroy, Oliver Hugh (Sunny) Enoch of Kenna and Angela Dawn (Kelley) Alton of Leroy; grandchildren Richard Alexander Enoch, Jordan Leann Enoch, Kyle Dalton Bentz, Ryan Dean Alton, Andrew Dylan Alton and several nieces and nephews.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents, infant brother Boyd, sister Evelyn E.(Carl) Boggs, brother Raymond Dustin (Marjorie) Enoch and nephew Timothy Lee Boggs.

Visitation will be Monday, May 8th from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Parkersburg. Funeral Service will be Tuesday, May 9th at 11 a.m. Entombment will be at Sunset Memory Gardens. Online tributes may be made to www.sunsetparkersburg.com.
