Laura Lavada Smith

She was born in Parkersburg, WV, the daughter of the late William and Judie Yoho.

Vada was a wonderful housewife, Mother, Grandmother, and Great- Grandmother. She loved planting flowers, working in the garden, canning and babysitting. She was a member of the Big Tygart United Methodist Church. She will be remembered for her willingness to help others and how she made everyone smile.

Those left behind to cherish her memories are her daughters, Brenda (Jim) Duncan and Judy (Randy) Walters, of Mineral Wells, WV, Sons, Mark Smith, Russell (Terri) Smith, of Mineral Wells and 12 Grandchildren and 20 Great- Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her Husband, Alvie L. Smith, Son, Kevin Smith, a special Great- Grandson, Aaron L. Smith, 2 Brothers; Wally Yoho, Bob Yoho and a Sister, Lena Williams.

Visitation will be from 2-4 P.M. and 6-8 P.M. on Monday July 31, 2023, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Tuesdays visitation will be held for Friends and Family 1 hour prior to the Funeral service on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at 11 A.M. at the Funeral Home with burial to follow at Sunset Memory Gardens.
