Judith Ann Gibbs Perdue, 69, of Vincent Ohio passed away peacefully at her home on August 26th, 2020 surrounded by her family and friends. Judy was born to Dale Maxon and Hazel Grace Gibbs in Parkersburg, WV on January 10, 1951. She was a graduate of 1968 of Federal Hocking High school. She married the love of her life, Phillip Edward Perdue on July 12, 1972 and together they raised their five children and countless others along the way. Judy spent her life taking care of others and spreading wisdom far beyond her years. She spent years in healthcare and countless more as a domestic goddess. No one enjoyed her family more than she did. Anyone who knew her, knew that her kitchen table and coffee pot were available at any time for anyone. Judy gracefully and with faith fought her battle against lung cancer over the last 9 months.
The family she leaves behind includes her Husband Phil, of 48 years. Her son Shane Perdue, daughters, Tammy Wunderlich and Tiera Arnold. Her siblings, Helen (Cliff) Sowards and Jim Gibbs. Her grandchildren, Amanda (Nathan) Hupp, Megan (Johnathon) Isner, Cory (Raegan) Arnold, Dean (Kaitlin) Miller, Raymie (Ashley) Roberts, Taylor Arnold, Hunter Wunderlich, Grace Wunderlich, Wyatt Roberts, Samuel Perdue and Jackson Perdue. Her great grandchildren, Adilynn, Hailey, Parker, Blake, Elena, and Lenora. Judy was also known as “G-ma” to many more that she mentored along the way.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents, her two children, Tina Miller and Davina Roberts, two son in laws, Dave Roberts and Jason Wunderlich, as well as her two brothers Roger Gibbs and David Gibbs.
The family will have a Celebration of Judy’s life to be held at a later date.
