Cynthia Haddad

She was born January 30, 1954 in Parkersburg a daughter of the late William D. Clinton and Helen K. Morgan Clinton. She graduated from Parkersburg High School in 1971. For many years she took care of people in their homes which she considered a ministry and she truly loved those she took care of. She had also worked in the past at Mustard’s Deli and most recently at Dudley’s Florist.

Cindy attended Living Word Church in Parkersburg and was devoted to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and her faith was evident in everything she did. She was a mentor and second mother to many over the years and a prayer warrior like no other. She had a beautiful voice and sang for the Lord for many years and was also a very talented floral designer and blessed many with her beautiful flower arrangements and wreaths.

She was a pillar of strength for her husband and her children. She raised her children as a single Mother for many years and they are eternally grateful for her love, sacrifice and prayers that shaped them into the people they are today.

Her presence on this earth will be deeply missed but we are comforted by the promise of seeing her in Heaven again one day.

She leaves behind a great legacy with her loving family, her husband, Zeinoun Haddad; sons, Michael and Shawna Stump, Andrew Stump, and Marc and Sasha Stump, and her daughter, Holly and Brian Burnside. Six grandchildren; Chloe Stump, Colton Stump, Caden Burnside, Cody Burnside, Chyler Burnside, and Boston Stump. Her sisters, Linda Gilbert and Cristy and Jeff Perkins. Her Mother in Law, Ghawee Haddad, brothers in law, Souheil Haddad and Elias and Karen Haddad and their daughter Samantha. She also leaves behind many special aunts, uncles, cousins and friends as well as her kitty Meowma.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her special nephew, Bryan Gilbert.

Funeral services will be 1 P.M. Tuesday January 9, 2024 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 6 PM to 8 PM on Monday January 8, 2024 at the funeral home and one hour prior to the start of the service on Tuesday from 12 PM to 1 PM.
