Mr. King, the son of Jerry King and Darlene Wampler King, was born Oct. 30, 1948, in Big Spring, TX.
He worked in the oil field for many years. In 1982, he moved to Paris and later worked for Waste Management several years. Tom then went to work and retired from Lamar County in Roxton, TX.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Graham King, his mother, Darlene Wampler Petty & husband Calvin, his father, Jerry King & wife Lois, two brothers, Terry King and Jerry King, and a sister, Virginia King.
Survivors include four children, Kenneth Enlow, Tom King, Jr., Barbara King, and John King, nine grandchildren, Brittany Cherry, Tiffany Garrison, Skyler Reily, Niki Briceno, Kyle Enlow, Chelsey Black, Zach Kaiser, Arial Roberts, and Kinley King, seven great grandchildren, Dakota Cherry, Lucas Cherry, Serinity Cherry, Aidan Reily, Talin Reily, Emma Porter, and Brysen Enlow, two brothers, Mike Petty and Calvin Petty, Jr., and a sister, Ginger Whitley along with numerous nieces & nephews and a host of friends.
Cremation was under the care and direction of Bright-Holland Funeral Home.
