Melodie Ann Kelley

Suddenly passed away on July 13th, 2024. We are unsure of the cause of death, but she died peacefully in her sleep. Her loss was unexpected and her family is deeply saddened.

Melodie was born September 19th, 1956 to Beverly and Buddy Kelley at an Air Force base in Pleasanton, CA. She grew up in Southern CA where she married and started a family of her own. Melodie is survived by her father Buddy, brothers Robert & wife Kelly, Richard and Donald, her two sons Ben & wife Alisha, Brandon & wife Hanna, her grandchildren (who she loved dearly) Cienna, Aliya, Hezekiah, Zoey, Kensington, Matthias, London, Jackson, Dean and of course her cousins, her church family and countless friends. Melodie was always so full of joy and she had a knack for making friends.

Melodie was preceded in death by her grandparents on both sides, Robert & Myrtle Brown and Pittman & Ann Kelley. Most recently her mother and stepfather Ernest & Beverly Reason. Melodies last post on Facebook said “I imagine my mother and stepfather are dancing in heaven right now.”Well, Melodie loved to dance and I’m sure she is dancing with them as we speak.

A memorial service will be held at Calvary Chapel Paris on August 10th at 10 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family of Melodie Kelley has asked that either a love offering be made to help with the debt of the estate or a donation be made to the ADAA Charity.
