Linda Sue (McDowell) Brown

Services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 9th at Bright-Holland Funeral Home with Rev. Kelly Collins officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.

Mrs. Brown, the daughter of Wesley Chester McDowell & Wilma Pauline Swindell McDowell, was born Feb. 24, 1953, in Commerce, TX.

Her career with Huhtamaki spanned a number of years before her retirement.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Donny McDowell and Gary Williams.

Survivors include her husband, Jackie Brown, two daughters, Sherry Stephens & husband Haskell and Brenda Perry & Richard Haley, grandchildren, Stephanie Henry & husband Jay, Ryan Stephens & wife Kayla, Amy Thibodeaux & husband Josh, Skylar Shelton & Jacob Burton, and Stoney Shelton, four great grandchildren, Ty Henry, Kelsey Thibodeaux, Rowen Burton, and Waylon Stephens, a step-daughter, Carol Marie Stewart, two siblings, Shirley Collins & husband Kelly and Johnny McDowell & wife Rhoda along with several nieces & nephews and a host of friends.
