Janet Kay Carter Kenneybrew

Janet Kay Carter Kenneybrew, 61, of Idabel, OK, passed away Friday, July 21, 2023. Memorial Services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 28th at Bright-Holland Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Allen Gulley officiating. Inurnment will follow in Williamson Cemetery in Idabel, OK. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Janet was born May 21, 1962, in Idabel, Oklahoma. She began working at Texoma Medical Center in Sherman five years ago and was employed at the time of her passing. While in Idabel, OK, she attended Rev. Gulley’s Church, Springhill. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Denison, TX. Janet was preceded in death by her husband, John Kenneybrew, her father, R. C. Compton, her mother, Elsie Faye Lawrence, an infant son who passed away at nine months of age, a sister, Crystal Daniels, a granddaughter, LaSharon Carter, and two great grandsons, Allen Larry, and  Dreveon Rashun. Survivors include her children, Quella Green, Nakeesha Carter, Timothy Carter & wife Cynthia, Stephanie Carter, and Carlos Brown, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren, and siblings, Phillip Carter, Anthony Carter, Ruby Green, and Katie Duckett along with several nieces & nephews and a host of friends.
