Father Anthony Alphonse, 56, of Killeen entered into rest at his home on Thursday, April 12, 2018. Bright-Holland Funeral Home will be directing a Requiem Mass, at 11:00 am, at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, in Paris, on Monday, April 23, 2018. Following the mass, Father Anthony will return to Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen where he will then be sent to his home in Bangalore, India.
In October of 1995, Father Anthony was appointed the 25th pastor at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Paris, where he served as pastor, until 2002. His presence and ministry in Paris and Lamar County will long be missed.
