Dora Marcella Vito

Dora Vito, 95, passed away peacefully on Friday March 28, 2025 at Artman Lutheran Home in Ambler, PA. She was born on December 2,1929 and spent much of her life in Devon, PA. She was a 1948 graduate of Tredyffrin Eastown High School. Dora married Dominic Vito on July 1, 1950. She worked as a film librarian for the Delaware County Intermediate Unit in Media, PA and retired in 1996. Dora and Dom were diehard Phillies fans and regularly attended games. She was a caregiver to many people in her life, often sacrificing her own needs to support others. Dora was a devoted wife and mother who adored her grandchildren. She is survived by her 3 children Dennis (Paula), David (Kathleen) and Donna, 4 grandchildren Tom (Marilyn), Blythe (Lee) Michael (Min), Nori and 4 great-grandchildren Mei, Guiliana, Mai and Gabriella. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 35 Old Eagle School Rd, Wayne, PA at 11:00 AM on Tuesday April 1, 2025. Friends and family may call from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the church. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery of West Conshocken, 2025 Old Gulph Rd, Villanova, PA.
