Renee K. Matthews

Renee Koch Matthews, 51 of Lake Worth, Florida passed away surrounded by her loving family, Sunday, August 3, 2014 after a courageous battle with cancer. Renee was born on Sunday, March 31, 1963 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, daughter of Geraldine Hulick Koch and Richard W. Koch. Renee was a 1981 graduate from Lima Senior High School and attended Ohio State University before relocating to South Florida with a career in office management. She was employed by SCI Funeral Services of Florida at IJ Morris at Star of David Cemetery of the Palm Beaches in West Palm Beach. Renee, a single parent raised and mentored a wonderful daughter, Lauren. Renee was able to attend Lauren’s graduation on May 3, 2014 from Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida. Renee is survived by her daughter Lauren Matthews, mother Gerry Sullivan, step father Craig Sullivan, brother Richard J. Koch & sister in law Stephanie; niece Shannon Koch; nephew Christian Koch; extended family and many friends. Renee was a special person that will be sorely missed by her family and friends.
