Helen Cohen, 92, of West Palm Beach, Florida passed away on Friday, April 29, 2022. Helen was born March 15, 1930 in New York, New York to Louis Rosenberg and Evelyn Rosenberg (nee Brookman).
Helen is survived by her son Jonah Cohen; daughter Elena (Ira) Barash; and granddaughter Lisa Spilko Donarski.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband Israel Cohen.
Helen loved animals, music and volunteering. She received her Masters of Social Work at New York City College once her children started to go to school. Helen worked at Kings County Hospital until she retired and moved down to West Palm Beach with our father, Israel.
There she joined the temple and got involved with different charitable organizations. Helen had wonderful neighbors, including one who was there with her to the end, Dorinda Beever. Jonah and Elena would like to thank Dorinda for all her care and help at the end of Helen's life.
A Graveside Service for Helen will be held Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at 10:30 AM at Cedar Park Cemetery, Paramus, NJ.
