Hanalee Mazer, 74, of Tampa, Florida, passed away at home with her family by her side on October 17, 2022 after a brave fight with cancer. She was born December 24, 1947, in Mount Vernon, New York to parents Sylvia and David Baron. She was predeceased by sister Caroldale Korotzer. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Lloyd Mazer, three children, Craig and partner Stacey, Todd and wife Melissa, and Melissa and husband Craig, and three grandchildren, Zoe, Shaylin and Brynlee. Hanalee was a teacher for over three decades, inspiring the minds of second graders in both Connecticut and Palm Beach County, Florida, most recently at Timber Trace Elementary School from 1991- 2015. Hanalee is loved greatly by her family and will be sorely missed, but never forgotten. Funeral Services will be held at I.J. Morris at the Star of David Cemetery of the Palm Beaches 9321 Memorial Park Rd, Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33412 on Sunday, October 23 at 2pm. Entombment to follow at same location. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Hanalee to Suncoast Hospice of Hillsborough or Moffitt Cancer Center.
