Sylvia Craine Drum, 86, of Sebastian died Monday, 11/3 in Vero Beach. Sylvia’s grandparents were from Holland and settled in upstate New York. She was born in Red Creek, New York, where she grew up on a dairy and apple farm. In 1987 she and her husband came to the Palm Bay area. She had been a secretary for the Wayne County School District in Wayne County, New York prior to retiring. She had been a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Palm Bay.
Preceded in death by her husband: Howard “Bud” Drum; father and mother: Philip and Doris Craine; two brothers: Bernard and Paul Craine and, recently this year, her twin sister: Shirley Craine; Sylvia is survived by her sons: Gene and Terry Drum; daughters: Peggy Losurdo and Susie Sefca; Grandchildren: Julie Pelton Miller, Cory Pelton, Joshua Drum, Damian Drum Collins, Cari Drum Hobbs, Erin Sefca, Ben Sefca, Amanda Drum and Katharine Drum; and seven great-grandchildren.
