Melbourne, FL - Robert (Bob) Dennis Bartlett, 77, passed away on December 10, 2021, of a long illness (non-covid related). He was the beloved husband of Phyllis Ann (Berlan) Bartlett. They shared 27 years of marriage.
Born in Derry, NH. Bob graduated from Pinkerton Academy in 1962. He owned Bartlett’s Corner Grocery in Derry, NH and held Deli Manager positions at Albertson’s, Winn Dixie, and Shaw’s. He retired from Seaquay Condominiums in Vero Beach, FL. He was a member of Planet Fitness and LA Fitness. He was an avid reader of Stuart Woods. He will be remembered for his love of the New England Patriot’s and the Boston Red Sox.
Bob is survived by his wife, Phyllis Ann (Berlan) Bartlett; five children: Derek (Michelle) Bartlett of Lakeland, FL, Aaron (Gayla) Bartlett of Danvers, MA, Megan Bartlett-Pepper of Goffstown, NH, David (Janet) Brown of Derry, NH, Kathleen (Scott) Molle of Vero Beach, FL; 5 grandchildren: Michaela, Colin, Lily, Sophia and Jessica (Britt); loving brother to Nancy (Stan) Levandowski of Tampa, FL; he leaves behind several nieces and nephews and his former daughter-in-law Lisa (Niko)Arsenault-Spacciante of Poinciana, FL. He loved his kitties, Cali and Leah. He leaves many close friends and acquaintances in both Florida and New England. He was predeceased by his parents, Yvonne (Routhier) and Clarence “Shorty” Bartlett of Derry, NH and Barefoot Bay, FL.
For Florida residents, the graveside memorial and internment will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2022, at 10:30am at Fountainhead Funeral Home, 7359 Babcock Street SE, Palm Bay, FL 32909.
For Massachusetts, a memorial service will be held on Friday, January 28, 2022, at 10:30am at Maple Street Church, 90 Maple Street, Danvers, MA.
For New Hampshire, a celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 5, 2022, at the Halcyon Club, 11 Central Street, Derry, NH at 11:30-12:00pm followed by an open house from 12:00-4:00pm.
