Celebrating the life of Richard Earl Bailey (08-03-1926 – 05-12-2014) Richard Earl Bailey departed this life for eternal rest Monday, May 12, 2014. Richard was born in Jamaica, West Indies to the parents of Vincent and Gwendolyn Bailey. After finishing High School, Richard attended Bedford & Smith School for Boys. He later went off to Lassalle University and received an Associate’s Degree.
Richard also served in the US Army during the Korean War with tours in Germany. He enjoyed playing Cricket, Soccer and the company of his family and friends. Richard was a member of the Brotherhood of the Episcopal Church here in Palm Bay, FL.
Richard will leave to mourn his wife of sixty years DeGloria Bailey; two son’s Richard and wife Lorna Bailey of Palm Bay, FL.; Winston Bailey of New York; one daughter Brenda Bailey of New York and one brother Vincent Bailey of Canada. Services will be held at 11:00 Saturday, May 24, 2014 at Church Of Our Savior Port Malabar; FL. Fountainhead Funeral Home will be in charge of services.
