Cecelia C. Danas, 71, passed away on October 30th, 2017. She was the widow of George Danas. They shared many wonderful years of marriage together. She was currently engaged to Ronald Daigle. He loved her dearly.
Born in New York, she was the daughter of Joseph T. Ruggiero and Margaret Caravella. She lived on Long Island for a decent portion of her life. She was employed as an addiction counselor. Helping people was her passion.
She was a member of the Kiwanis, PAL, and Unity of Melbourne Church. She enjoyed doing crafts such as card making, rubber stamping, and basket decorating. Another one of her pastimes was cooking, especially delicious Italian food. She loved volunteering and working with the community too. She will be remembered for her artistic eye and craftiness; caring and compassionate personality; and loving demeanor.
She is survived by her daughter Erika Danas and Fiancé Ronald Daigle.
Cecelia will be missed by many. She definitely left a lasting memory with all whom she met. She was truly an angel on earth.
