Maureen Jones Richardson

A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, August 17, 2013 at New Covenant Church in Newton with Pastors Robert Smith and Haley Enfinger officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday one hour prior to the service.

Maureen was born in Newton on September 11, 1959 to the late Joe and Morrell Jones. Maureen was a talented floral designer and had a passion for volunteer service especially for helping others. That glowing smile will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Billy McCraney.

She is survived by her son, Marcus Justin Lisenby; her daughter, Priscilla Dawn Lisenby; her husband, Terry Richardson and three step-children; also surviving are her grandchildren, Kimberly, Hasten and Laice; her brother, Sammy Jones and wife Debbie of Slocomb, Alabama and her sister Judy McCraney of Newton, Alabama.
