Funeral services were held at 2:00 pm on Friday, November 9, 2012, at the Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints in Ozark with Bishop Mitch Darley officiating. Burial followed in Woodlawn Memory Gardens with full military honors and Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home directing. The family received friends at the funeral home on Thursday, November 8, 2012 from 6 pm - 8 pm.
Mr. Jordan was born to Yourie and Evelyn Hightower Jordan in Bowling Green, Kentucky on March 17, 1936. He retired from the U.S. Army, rank of E-7 after 20 years of service. He also retired from Dyncorp at Ft. Rucker as an aircraft mechanic.
Mr. Jordan was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Lois; and a brother, Billy.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Bessie Jordan of Ozark; daughters: Judy Grice and Debbie Phipps (Frank) all of Ozark; sons: Charles Louis Jordan (Dotty) of Nebraska, Roger Lane Jordan (Hasuk) of Panama City, Florida, and Tommy Jordan of Ozark; sisters: Joyce, Camilla, Margarite, and Margie; brother, Patrick Jordan of Texas; fifteen grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
