

Rieppe will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Bob, and her children, Brent and Bonnie (Aaron Barr). Rieppe will also be fondly remembered by her two grandchildren, Caroline and Brooks Barr, and by her brother, Neville Clark. She is preceded in death by her father, James R. Clark, and mother, Annette Clark.
Rieppe was born on September 24,1947 in Seneca, SC. She was a proud graduate of Parker High School in Greenville, SC. She went on to earn a degree in English from Columbia College and a Master’s degree in Education from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She married Bob in 1975 in Charlotte, NC. Rieppe and Bob welcomed their son, Brent, in Charlotte, NC and daughter, Bonnie, in West Chester, PA before settling in Central Florida in 1982. Rieppe created many fond memories and dear friendships every place they lived.
Rieppe was gifted at making those around her feel loved. She saw the best in everyone and loved deeply. Her smile and enthusiastic “Hellooo!” lit every room she entered. She sought to instill in her children a commitment to family and friends, and the power of a smile. Her children remember her as a loving mother who supported and loved them unconditionally.
At Rieppe’s request, her brain has been donated to Johns Hopkins Hospital for the advancement of research into Multiple System Atrophy.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00am on October 5, 2018 at the First United Methodist Church of Oviedo (263 King St, Oviedo, FL 32765). A reception will follow at 1:00pm at the Interlachen Country Club (2245 Interlachen Ct, Winter Park, FL 32792). A memorial celebration will also be held in Greenville, SC at a date to be determined.
