On Wednesday, November 30th, Richard Edward Mailman, a beloved husband, father, grand-father, chaplin & paster went home to glory. He was eighty-two. Born to Peary Mailman & Zano Agazarian, Dick graduated from Nasson College, Springvale, ME with a Bachelor of Arts in History and went on to become a personal development trainer, chaplin in the Seminole & Orange county jails & pastor. He met his high school sweetheart Carolan Jeanette Lowe at their school's Thanksgiving "Turkey Trot" dance and married on June 8, 1963. They were married for fifty-nine years and a couple for sixty-six years.
He is survived by his wife, Carolan, son, Michael(Oksana, sp), daughters Kimberley(Gerald, sp) & Nova(Kris, sp) as well as grand-daughters Diana, Abigail, Tiernan & Braealyn and his sister, Kimberly(Larry, sp).
The celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, December 3rd, at 3 p.m. at Community United Methodist Church in Casselberry with reception following. Viewing will be on Sunday, December 4th at Baldwin-Fairchild Funeral Home in Oviedo from 3pm to 7pm.
In Lieu of flowers, family has requested donations to be made to the Community United Methodist Church for the repair of the Carrillon Bells in memory of Richard as well as donations to Good News Jail and Prison Ministry and Lighthouse for the blind of Central Florida.
