Daniel Bancroft

Daniel Bancroft, age 65, of Oviedo, Florida passed into the presence of Jesus on Thursday, February 17, 2022. Dan was born August 7, 1956, in New Bedford, Massachusetts to Jeanne Bancroft and the late William Bancroft.

Dan graduated from Bristol Community College and worked at Raytheon for 10 years. He retired from Lockheed Martin in 2021, after 34 years as an electrical engineer.

Dan was a faithful Christian and a member of Willow Creek Church, Winter Springs. He had a passion for woodworking, photography, fishing and fixing things around the house. Dan was devoted to his family, and especially valued time spent with his grandchildren.

Dan is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years, Cheryl Bancroft; seven children, Eric Bancroft (Erin), Dean Bancroft, Seth Bancroft, David Bancroft (Carlie), Rachel Gentry (John, Jr.), Caleb Bancroft (Holly) and Sarah Bancroft; mother, Jeanne Bancroft; four sisters, Colleen Gordon (Herbert), Kathleen Tavares (Anthony), Debra Kershaw (John) and Joyce Lavoie (Regis); and seven grandchildren, Jonah Bancroft, Nathan Bancroft, Thaddaeus Bancroft, Levi Bancroft, Genevieve Bancroft, Micah Bancroft and one granddaughter on the way.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Dan will be held Saturday, March 5, 2022, at 10:00 AM at Willow Creek Church, 4725 East Lake Drive, Winter Springs, Florida 32708.
