Luis Lopez Zarate, age 90, of Overland Park, Kansas passed away on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, surrounded by all his loving family. Visitation will be from 5-7 PM on Monday, September 30th at the McGilley & Hoge Chapel, 8024 Santa Fe Drive, Overland Park, Kansas 66204. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 12 Noon on Tuesday, October 1st at Church of the Holy Cross, 8311 W. 93rd Street, Overland Park, Kansas 66212. Burial in Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, 8321 Quivira Road, Lenexa, Kansas 66215.

He leaves behind his lovely wife, Esperanza; and his sons, Jose Luis, Alejandro, Miguel Angel, Gerardo, Ricardo, and Luis Gerardo; and daughters, Virginia, Anna, Lily, Claudia and Lety; and his beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers, Aurelio, Gregorio and Luciano (deceased); and sisters, Gonzala and Juana; and many beloved nephews and nieces.
