Beverly Lou Nieman, age 90, of Overland Park, Kansas passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2024. A visitation for Beverly will be held Thursday, November 21, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at McGilley & Hoge Johnson County Memorial Chapel, 8024 Santa Fe Drive, Overland Park, Kansas 66204, followed by a Celebration of Life service at 11:00 AM. Burial in Shawnee Mission Memory Gardens, 23215 W. 75th Street, Shawnee, Kansas 66227. Memorial contributions are suggested to the ASPCA.
Beverly was born on December 21st, 1933 in Dearborn, Missouri. She was the youngest of 9 children. She married in 1952 to William S. Nieman and her daughter, Sandy was born in 1967. Beverly lived in the Overland Park area for 56 years. She dedicated her life to creating a warm and nurturing home for her husband of 72 years, Stan and her daughter, Sandy. Her passions were her two granchildren, Sam and Katie; and every dog in the world. She was a giving, caring and dedicated wife, mother, gigi, sister and friend. Beverly was loved by everyone she touched.
She was preceded in death by her parents and 8 siblings.
Survivors include her huband, William S. Nieman; daughter, Sandy Nieman; granddaughter, Katie White; grandson, Sam White; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
