Timothy Wilfred Hines, died suddenly on February 8th, 2020 in Ottawa, ON - at the age of 56. He is survived by his mother Judith (predeceased by his father Wilfred), his brother Patrick (predeceased by his brother Christopher) and his children: Cameron, Jackson and Lauren.
Tim graduated from Saint Francis Xavier University in 1986, and in his working life specialized in trade policy for the federal government. Tim was an outstanding chef who prided himself in preparing delicious meals for his family and friends. He loved the outdoors, when it snowed he could spend the whole day at the ski hill. In the summer he could be found at the camp ground, enjoying fishing, canoeing and late night campfires. Tim loved to play sports. He was a long time ultimate player; he met regularly for squash nights with his friends and he always looked forward to weekend golfing and canoe trips. Above all else, Tim loved his family and was happy just to spend time with them.
A gathering will be held for Timothy on Wednesday February 12th at McEvoy and Shields, 1411 Hunt Club Rd. from 2 till 4 pm with words of remembrance beginning at 3:15. In lieu of flowers donations to the Lupus Foundation of Canada would be appreciated.
