Sheila Josephine Exley

Loving wife of the late Alan A. Exley; predeceased by her son, Alan John, her twin sister, Georgina and brother-in-law, Peter Coward, and her parents, Jack Rowe and Eileen (nee Glynn). Sheila is survived by a niece and a nephew, Sheila Coward and Richard Coward, both of England, as well as several cousins in Ireland.

Sheila was born and raised in England and emigrated to Canada in 1957 with her husband and son, living first in Nfld. before moving to Ottawa. Sheila spent many years in Ottawa working at Canada Mortgage and Housing Corp. During her time in Ottawa, she was an active member of St. Leonard's Church in Manotick, before moving to Calgary and joining Ascension Catholic Parish.

Sheila will be greatly missed by family, extended family, and many cherished friends.

A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 15 Steeple Hill Crescent, Fallowfield, ON, followed by interment at St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery.
