Unexpectedly, on December 5, 2010, after a sudden illness he went quietly "into that dark night" in the Heart Institute of the Ottawa Hospital - Civic Campus at age 42. Beloved by his father Paul, his brother David and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his mother, Cynthia. God guard their spirits. He will be sorely missed by his family, his friends and his colleagues at Canadian Blood Services. We wish to express heartfelt thanks to the paramedics who answered our distress call, the doctors, nurses and other staff of the hospital at both the Civic and General campuses for their attention, care and compassion. A Memorial Service will be held for Sean at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 11 in the chapel of McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road, Ottawa.
