I first met Bob at high school when he became the sound man for the band Troy. Although I have not seen Bob in many years I still think about the crazy times we had playing school dances and rock bars when we were just 14 and 15 years old. He was a great friend.

Jackie, our most sincere condolences for your loss. Bob was a great friend, as special as special can be. He was easily the most supportive, authentic, and caring man I have ever met. I will miss his unique perspectives, his positive attitude, and most of all, his courage. When I sat down to write my feelings regarding his passing, I started by listing a few things that made him special. In minutes I had filled the page and could have kept rolling. There are not enough good things to say about someone who never gave up on anyone. He will be missed.

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always.

I found out about your passing days later and now I am at a loss for words. Bob, you were always a real stand-up guy, full of integrity, and oh, what a character! We worked as collegues, but shared a passion for music. So much so that the jazz cd you gave my wife and I for our wedding reception was thoroughly enjoyed by all. Bob was the 1st friend I made when I transferred to Sir John A High School we became good friends and went to many concerts together in the 70's and was allways there when I needed a hand. Bob...a mentor, a boss, a dear friend.  I had the privilege of working for Bob at the Ministry of Finance 4 years ago on a contract...his warmth, his positive personality is the only thing that I needed to decide to make it a permanent home working for him in Collections.  I will miss his daily 'inspirational' quotes he would e-mail me and his friggin brain teasers that I could never solve! He was someone that I looked up to because through any situation he could turn the worse one into the most positive! I'll miss you lots but it means an extra special angel watching over us... My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends. Love you lots Bob...you will be dearly missed. xo

We will sincerely miss our blues brother Bob. He was a great friend, an inspiration in our lives, the lives of all his friends and family and one of my many musical mentors. Our dinner parties and camping trips to the Mont Tremblant Bluesfest with the other Blues Brothers remain one of my fondest memories. Terry and I loved Bob like a brother. We will sincerely miss his wisdom, sense of humour and his entire being. Rest in peace Bob, God has a special place in Heaven, just for you our dear friend.
