Odubode Odusi

Born in Ibadan, Nigeria to Rev Olatunde Odusi and Mrs. Abosede Odusi.

He is survived by his mother, his loving wife Mrs. Bola Odusi, Oluwayomi Odusi (son), Adeoluwayimika Odusi (daughter), and Oluwayemisi Odusi (son).

He is also survived by aged mother, many brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles and cousins in Nigeria and overseas.

He graduated from the Obafemia Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria as an Electrical Engineer and worked in Nigeria and abroad in the Oil and Gas industry, he travelled the world due to the nature of his work.

He was a man of faith who spent his life dedicated to his work and his family. He enjoyed nature, movies and travelling. He was full of life, had a deep respect for our universe and would fill up any room with joy whenever he wanted to. Sometimes he would be quiet and choose to spend time reading and acquiring knowledge to pass on to his lovely kids.

He loved Hollywood classical films, spaghetti westerns, and mafia films. He would sing sometimes and also loved going on walks. He loved travelling as well as buying boxes of chocolates for his kids always. He loved fixing things. He would spend time in the basement with his son watching movies and laughing about life.

He was a loving father, devoted husband and very caring. He made sacrifices very few would make for their family.

At work he was a trailblazer, a manager within the engineering realm who set his sights on leadership before his life was tragically cut short.

Bode had so much left to give to this world and this loss is truly devastating. We will remember him for the many sacrifices he made to open doors for his family to move onto better heights.

Visitation for Mr. Odusi will be held on Wednesday, February 8, 2023 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road, Ottawa, ON

Funeral Service will be held at Woodvale Pentecostal Church on Thursday, February 9, 2023 at 12:00pm.
