Mona Goodwin passed away peacefully, in her 101st year, at Almonte Country Haven, Mississippi Mills, Ontario on Wednesday August 10th 2022. Beloved wife of the late Sidney Goodwin. She is survived by her son Barry (Thelma), granddaughter Debbie and greatgrandchild Jayden. Predeceased by son Terry. Mona was born in 1921 in Montreal, QC
She was a long-time resident of Montreal; in recent years she moved to Ontario to be closer to family. During her younger years, she was an active member of St. Luke’s United Church and enjoyed participating in many church drama group productions. Through the years she was a passionate dog lover.
Mona’s family wish to thank the staff of Carleton Place Terrace, The Rosamond Wing of Almonte General Hospital and Almonte Country Haven for their kind and compassionate care of Mom.
Respecting Mona’s wishes there is no visitation or service. A private burial has been arranged.
