My deepest sympathies to the Cronin family.Mr. Cronin brought so many smiles to the staff at Lord Lansdowne. I'll never forget the walks that he took, he would always bring back a chocolate bar or some sort of goody. He made me feel so comfortable in my first few weeks of working here. He will definitely be missed.

Although I had not seen Bernard in several years, I recall fondly his visits to Saskatoon, the Irish music and laughing with my dad.  His rendition of The Nightingale was second to none. I still remember him singing that song at my parents cabin and as Lisa pointed out,  there was always quick wit and corny jokes.

We were saddened to hear about the passing of your dad. We know it is so very difficult to lose a parent. Our thoughts are with you and Ron.

Dear Mrs. Cronin, Jane, Ron, Mary and family, I was saddened to hear... Micheal if I may,  caught the number 1 bus to heaven. With courage and fear, sadness and joy, we will all take that bus far to soon. One thing I do know, those upon the bus with Micheal that day were lucky folk.
 I would often share a few words with Mr. Cronin on the old Bank street bus.... a little listening, some advice, a joke or two. A good guy to run into , a hard guy to leave. When departing the old bus my gait had more bounce, my smile was too much and the sun shone a little brighter.  God bless, Danny G.

My dear Uncle Bern, I will miss you. You were such a wonderful, loving, caring man. Although we didn't live near one another, you always took the time to write letters to me throughout all of the years. I remember many times rushing home after school to check the mailbox in anticipation of a letter from you, and the joy I felt in finding one! You instilled in me, the love of writing- which continues to this day. I always looked forward to your visits to our home when you came to Calgary. You'd have us all in stitches with your corny jokes and inevitably, you would join in with my mother in chiming out your best renditions of the old Irish songs. There was never a doubt that you two were cut from the same cloth! Thank you for being a beacon of light to my dear mother always, especially in her darkest of days. You were a constant in our lives and we loved you so much. 
I expect that my mom Eileen, your brothers Herb and Frank, would've saved a great seat for you up there. I imagine you'll have a lot to catch up on. Please send them my love too. To Aunt Margaret and my cousins Jane and Mary- my heartfelt condolences & deepest sympathy.
