Michael "Mike" Robert Billows

Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday March 29, 2022 at the Ottawa Hospital-General Campus at the age of 77.

Loving and devoted husband to Bev for 53 wonderful years.

Adoring dad to Jason (Tracy) and Sarah (Geoff).

Proud Grandpa to Caelan, Charlotte, Owen and Lily.

Dear brother to Cathy (Peter).

Mike is predeceased by his loving parents, Nicholas and Genevieve as well as his siblings, Bill, Don (Ann) and Pat (Robbie).

Mike will also be lovingly remembered by a large extended family of honorary grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, close friends, and all those who were impacted by his exceedingly generous, and loving way.

Mike was known for his long-time devotion to the Ottawa Community Concert Band and his immense love for his family (especially his grandchildren).

The family of Mike would like to extend a very special thank you to the staff at the Ottawa Hospital- General Campus for their exceptional care while Mike was with them.

Visitation for Mike will be held at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home & Chapel (1411 Hunt Club Rd.) on Monday April 4, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and then on Tuesday April 5, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.

A funeral service for Mike will be held at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home & Chapel on Tuesday April 5, 2022 at 11:30 a.m. Immediately following the service in the chapel, burial at Notre Dame Cemetery will take place.

Following the burial at Notre Dame, the family would like to invite attendees to a Reception- location details will be relayed at the Funeral.
