Suddenly in hospital on Friday October 17, 2014 at the age of 78. Dear sister of Margaret O’Connor (the Late Ronnie), Joe (Mildred), Teresa Day and predeceased by Terence (Marie) and Cyrus (the late Ann ). Predeceased by her parents Cyrus Plunkett and Mary (nee Bradley). Dear aunt of numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Mary will be dearly missed by her niece Gayle who was her care giver in the later years and enjoyed many card games together. She encountered her challenges with grace, good humour and was an inspiration to all who knew her. She retired from the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company after 36 years of service and never missed one day of work. Friends and Family may pay their respects at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home 1411 Hunt Club Road at Albion Road on Tuesday from 6 to 9 p.m. and on Wednesday one hour before the Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. in Saint Camillus Church, Farrellton, Interment Parish cemetery.
