Passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at the age of 87 years old. He was the son of the late Salomon Lanthier and the late Roseanna Paquette and the beloved husband of the late Aline Lanthier (née Boulay).
He leaves in sorrow his daughters : Rachel Lanthier (Roger), Céline Lanthier (Louis), Stella Kidd (Tony), Carole Lanthier, Françoise Aubé (Pierre), Lilianne Mitchell (David), Suzanne Lanthier (Ted), late Diane Dupuis ( late Lucien) and 22 adored grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. He also leaves to mourn his two brothers George and Maurice and his sister Rita, as well as several godchildren, nephews, nieces and friends. He was predeceased by two brothers and 6 sisters.
The family would like to thank Dr. Lorne Weiner and the staff at the Civic Hospital for the amazing care provided.
A memorial mass will be held at Saint-Sébastien Church, 1000 Frances Street, Ottawa, on Friday, June 26, 2020 at 11 a.m. In memory of Mr. Lanthier, donations to Veterans Emergency Transition Services would be appreciated.
