Passed away peacefully on Thursday November 7, 2019 at the age of 87. Beloved husband of sixty three years to Joan (nee Murray). Much loved father of Lynn. Loving papa of Cheryl (Marc Boulerice) and Karen (Michael D'Angelo). Great papa to Jason and Carter. Son of the late Arnold Bannister and Muriel Naves. Brother of Willard Carr, Jack Carr, and Marjorie Carr. Predeceased by Alice, Harold, Marion and Arna Bannister.
Friends and family may pay their respects on Thursday November 14, from 2 till 3 pm followed by a memorial service at 3 pm in the chapel at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road.
In lieu of flowers donations to the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation would be appreciated.
