Peacefully, at Hunt Club Manor, on Sunday, May 15, 2016 at the age of 81. Beloved wife of the late LeRoy “Roy” McMillan. Loving mother of Wayne (Diane), Lynda Kemper (Michael), Larry (Mary) and Wendy (Bob). Cherished grandmother of Mark (Aleksandra), Laura (Jonas), Rachel (Alex), David, Maggie, Joshua (Chelsee) and Adam (Kaitlyn); great grandmother of Shaylyn, Leroy, Jayden, Juliana and Hanna. Dear sister of Harold Clarke (Diane); sister in law of Shirley Bilsborough, Audrey Wrigley and June McQuain (Bev). Visitation at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road, on Saturday, May 21 from 1-2 pm followed by a funeral service in the chapel at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jean’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society and the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Special thanks to the staff and residents at Hunt Club Manor, who all became part of Jean’s extended family, and also to the staff at 8 South at the General Hospital and to Robbie, James and Susan at CCAC for their special care.
