Jackie Wilkinson

Passed away peacefully at the Ottawa General Hospital on April 28, 2014 at the age of 85 years. Beloved wife of the late William (Bill) Wilkinson. Loving mother of Richard Wilkinson of London Ontario, Janet Wilkinson (Lorne Grigsby) of Ottawa, Susan Madsen (Soren) of Georgian Bay and Gary Wilkinson (Helena) of Richmond Hill. Cherished grandmother of Jeremi, Julian, Melanie, Jeffery, Pamela, Samantha, Sasha, Misha and Stacie. Loving great-grandmother of Ashlyn, Colton and Payton. The family would like to thank all the staff at the Hunt Club Manor, including support staff and care givers, who provided wonderful care throughout the years she lived there. They would also like to thank all the residents who were great friends to her providing love and support over the years. Family and friends may pay their respects at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Rd (at Albion Road) on Thursday, May 8, 2014 after 1:00 p.m., followed by a Memorial Service in the Chapel at 2:00 p.m. A gathering will follow in the Funeral Home Reception Hall. The internment will take place at a later date in Montreal. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada would be gratefully acknowledged.
