Passed away on February 9, 2017 at the age of 92. She was the daughter of the late Eugène Gagnon and the late Laurette Picotte. Beloved wife of the late Robert P. Richardson. She leaves in sorrow her son Arthur and daughter-in-law Louise Currier. She will be dearly missed by her granddaughter Suzanne (Benoit), her great-grandchildren: Monika, Selyna (Sébastien), Antonyo (Valentina), Exavier and Eva as well as her great-great-grandchild Jayden. She was predeceased by her son Richard (Louise Currier). The family would like to thank the Garry J. Armstrong staff on the 3rd floor for their exceptional loving care especially her “Pet” Brenda as well as Nancy for her outstanding devotion, support, loving care and guidance through this difficult time. She was known as the Singing Lady on the floor and made the staff and residents happy. She was tenderly cared for by her daughter-in-law Louise and her granddaughter Suzanne. A memorial mass will take place on Friday, February 24, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at Notre-Dame de Lourdes Church, 435 Montreal Road, Ottawa. The family will receive condolences from 10 a.m. at the parish.
